About Dr. Marika Rasschaert – Medical Oncologist
Dr. Marika Rasschaert trained in Medical Oncology at the Antwerp University Hospital and completed a PhD trajectory at the Antwerp University in May 2023.
Within the department of Medical Oncology, she is currently heading the clinical care for Head and Neck Oncology, Neuro-oncology, Melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer as well as Endocrine malignancies (excluding NET’s). She also has positions as Visiting Medical Oncologist at AZ Rivierenland, Rumst and AZ Monica, Deurne.
Dr. Rasschaert is a member of several national and international cancer societies such as BSMO, ESMO, EANO and ASCO. She is an active member of the EORTC BtgQac (Brain tumor group Quallity assessment committee). She also holds a teaching position at the Karel De Grote Hogeschool and is an active participant in student teaching, and clinical research.
